Mod podge [Out door] to use as a sealant and glue

So I came across a website for DIY http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/batman-comic-book-flats and was inspired to do my own version. Ok, call me lame but when I was a kid I loved Sailor moon! It was my favorite! So I used a sailor moon theme. I printed a bunch of pictures and began planning and cutting away. After cutting I glued all the images and sealed them.
I decided to use the lockets from Season Three Brooch "Moon Cosmic Power - Make Up!" and Season Five Brooch "Moon Eternal Power - Make Up!"
However, after wearing them once I ripped the sailor moon's face and some of the background (where you bend your toes when you walking). I don't know if it's because the shoes I used, the way I glued them, or maybe because I walk funny, but you guys should give it a try anyway because it's totally fun to see what kind of results you get. I would have never imagined it to turn out like this but in the end I liked them. Its a little messy and clean up is not fun but totally worth it.
